19th Century Wallpaper
The invention of mass-produced economical papers in the 1830s spawned a boom in wallpaper usage - the Little Greene archive is littered with fine examples of Victorian wallpapers from the latter three quarters of the century – these include Dahlia Scroll, Tulip, Poppy Trail, Hoja and Burges Snail, together with representation from the Arts & Crafts period with the Briar Rose wallpaper.
